My memoir did really well in the self-publishing arena because owning and operating my world famous biker bar gave me a great platform. I can say from experience that as soon as you stop promoting your book it dies on the vine. I always have my paperback book available and sell it to people we meet in our travels, but I haven't sold one online in a long time. Thanks for sharing your experience and expertise.
