This is so inspirational J R. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable.
I actually joined the challenge but I already have a hard time keeping up. I published my first book in April, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to publish my second book this month.
Here’s a link to my first book as you asked:
It’s called How I Make $1,000 a Month On Medium (I really need to work on that headline 😅)
Ah, that makes sense. I'm on a social media detox, so I deleted a lot of apps like Telegram. But of course I'll be following the challenge here on Substack and Medium!
Thanks for such an inspiring article 🙏... I also experienced that connecting feels so much better than being jealous and doing it all alone... especially here on Substack, the community is great
By way of analogy, when a teammate catches an interception and runs down the field, the players on the field are blocking for him, the players and coaches on the sidelines are cheering and running alongside, the fans are yelling in support—all for one player doing well.
I couldn't agree with you more. I think having other writer friends is a huge benefit. It's nice to have someone to ask questions, talk through writing issues, and provide encouragement. It's great to give and receive feedback. I appreciate all my writer friends I've met on Substack!
The challenge that changed everything is what I'm calling it! Hoping more people will join.
You've influence me too Jack, with everything The Minimalist Author is about and this challenge as well!
It’s been such a fun ride so far and I’m looking forward to seeing who else joins us.

Thank you! The link doesn’t seem to work. It says that the address is invalid..
Hmph. How about now? https://t.me/+bjNUuYbfpxM5ODYx it’s for a Telegram channel.

Being an author may seem like a solo gig, but it takes a village! 📖
It really does! Especially when things are hard!

For sure! I have been finding it so fun to create alongside other creators and seeing us all succeed!
Yep, totally.

The whole team wins.
Each of us can be like that for each other.

I could offer my comic book currently, if that qualifies.
