I have (and read) your Substack-Posts-to-Manuscript book. Can I use the Minimalist Author Way course to further my Substack posts into a book? Or do I need to begin with a new idea for your course? Thanks. (It's very reasonably priced, by the way.)
So the course is even better than the book because I give a little bit more detail into how to hire an editor how to do cover design yourself or hire a cover designer and I think what’s going to be the really great opportunity with it all is that the clubis lifetime membership so even as things change my hope is to have a lot of authors in there to be able to connect and help each other.
This is a great summary. Thank you! All of my past books - whether traditionally or self-published - have been 300+ pages. But I'm going to publish a lighthearted childhood memoir in late January that will only be 150 pages or less. I'm very interested to see how this plays out, both the lightheartedness and the length.
You bet! I don’t think I would have put this number one earlier this year, but seeing what is starting to happen with my books, I think it’s the right spot.
With short books on the rise...do you think it'll become more popular for blog/article writers to compile work into book form? Great info! Thanks, J.R. and congrats on your latest release!

inspiring!
Thank you!
It’s always a pleasure to meet another self-published author.
Have a great Monday!
You bet! You too!
Love bold prediction #2 (and #3 also)!
I think it is going to be a big year for both. And I’m super excited to see it happen!
