5 Books You Should Read If You Want To Self-Publish A Book

These resources have helped me a great deal in my journey

I read a lot of books in a year. Last year, I was just over 24 books. The year before that, I nearly hit 40.

Since I read so many books, I have found many great resources on self-publishing. I have also found a lot of poor ones.

So, today, I wanted to share five of my favorite books on self-publishing. It’s a short post, but I hope you find a book that will help you on your journey to self-publishing books.

5 Books to Guide You on Your Self-Publishing Journey

These five books are in no particular order. However, each one has helped guide me on my journey. They have given valuable insight, and I think they can help you too.

No.1 - Published by Chandler Bolt

Chandler Bolt has turned this into a course and has helped thousands, if not tens of thousands, of people, write and publish books. It’s an older one, but this book helped kick me out the door and publish my first book.

No.2 - Consistent Creative Content by Lee Hall

This is more than a self-publishing book. It is all-encompassing for the writer and author. But Lee Hall has written and published a stable of books that make consistent sales, and this is how he does it.

No.3 - Bestseller in 30 Days by Michelle Kulp

This book helped me revamp my book-launching formulas and consider different ways to create books that sell. Hands down, this book changed the way I promote my books.

No.4 - The 100-Page Book by Mike Capuzzi

Short books are the thing of the future. And the end is now. This book helped me consider that people buy shorter reads because they want fast answers to their problems. This is a great book to learn how to do it.

No.5 - Your First 1,000 Copies by Tim Grahl

This book was the first one I read that helped me set the foundation for book launches and promotions. I still reference it from time to time when I prepare to launch a new book. It’s an excellent place to start with book promotion.

Other Books?
