Okay, I know darn well how I got here.
This is a symptom of having a lot of ideas and then cutting things out.
I love to start things. And I love to write books. So, when I decided to change everything from my original plan for the year, it opened the door to creating space for additional book projects.
Plus, when there are so many ways to write a first draft, I can’t help but start book projects too!
I love writing and publishing books.
One of my goals for this year was to publish more books than last year. And in 2023, I published three books. So, it’s not a far cry to publish more books than last year, especially now that I have five open projects.
However, I thought I would share some of my open projects and update you on where I am in the process of all of them.
The Gospel of Mark: I am working on the typesetting right now, and then it will go off to the cover designer to finalize the print cover. Then, I will be ready to launch.
Lent: A Journey To Ressurection Sunday: This is a seasonal devotional that I am currently editing and will get out quickly for the season of Lent, which is coming up.
The Gospel of Luke: I am researching and reading through this gospel to finalize what scripture will be used for the devotional.
The Book of Psalms: Researching and writing this one. It will take a long time, so I am starting early on it, but last year, I read through the Pslams and felt like God was calling me to write this devotional, too.
A Book on Prayer: This is in the early stages of research and outlining. But I am excited to write a book about prayer, not only create a devotional.
Well, my book projects are in various stages. I should have two books out very soon, which I am super excited about. And then the others will come together as we go.
If you are interested in being on my ARC (Advance Reader Copy) Team for my faith-focused books, let me know, and I will add you to the list when I have the advanced copy ready to go!
Alright, that is all for this week, next week I will share a little bit more of my process for researching, outlining, and writing devotionals!
